Most map searches reduce to a disciplined sequence: mark fixed points, convert clues into lines or circles, then measure from the Nest to the target.

Procedure
Recommended workflow
- Mark the Iron Nest first, then spotters, then reference points.
- For two bearings, draw one line from each reported point and use the intersection.
- For distances, draw compass arcs from known points and inspect overlap or intersections.
- Use terrain hints only after you have plotted every numeric clue.
- Measure the final bearing and range from the Iron Nest to the target, not from the spotter.
